Architect: McKim, Meade and White, 1882 Preservation Consulting Gilding Description: This project, completed for the preservation Society of Newport County, involved coordinating the effort of the owner, architect and contractor in the interior and exterior restoration of this important shingle style structure. Blackburn also investigated original decorative treatments, conducted an archeological survey of the ancillary structures and walkways, restored the original hardware and recreated the gilt decoration on the second floor.
