ARCHITECTURAL CONSERVATION & RESTORATION
All to often architectural exteriors are over-restored by the replacement of still functional siding and trim from a mis-guided attempt to make the building look “consistent” and “like new.” Our approach to architectural conservation is to address building failures by preserving original building systems rather than replacing them. We utilize historic materials and methods along with modern epoxies and fastening systems to retain a structure’s historic but original appearance and proportion. We offer architectural conservation services for, exterior paint, wood windows, doors and capitals, wood trim and mouldings, epoxy consolidation and gold leaf.
